Tony Lamar Adams, a cherished member of the Rome, Georgia, community, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Born on June 23, 1953, to Dorothy Allen Adams and the late Charles D. Adams, Tony's life was a true example of the values of love, dedication, and creative spirit.
Tony leaves behind a loving family who were the centerpiece of his life: his devoted wife, Judy Highfield Adams; his sons, Jason Adams and Jessie Adams, who are heirs their father's strength and compassion; his beloved grandchildren, Lacey Adams, Cody Adams, and Benny Adams, who brought endless joy and youthful energy to his days; and his siblings, Gene Adams, Mike Adams, and Tammy Adams Picklesimer, with whom he shared the bonds of unconditional love and shared memories.
A patriot at heart, Tony was immensely proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps. His time in the military was marked by an unwavering dedication to his country.
Tony's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly through the establishment of his own construction business. A master of carpentry and woodworking, he poured his creativity into every project, blending artistry with utility.
